QuintEssenza is a feminine event where the protagonists are herbs, spices, flowers, and gardens. Specialised exhibitors are divided into thematic areas showcasing their natural, eco-sustainable, colourful, and fragrant products. Wellness, natural cosmetics, aromatherapy, herbal teas, infusions, and distilled beverages are featured. Additionally, there's horticulture and specialised publishing. During QuintEssenza, the streets of Savigliano's historic centre are renamed, enveloping a unique and magical springtime atmosphere.

Piazza Santarosa transforms into the "Herb Square," adorned with colours and exuding the scents, properties, and virtues of medicinal herbs and essences. Piazza Cesare Battisti hosts the "open-air garden" with spring flowers, geraniums, petunias, aromatic plants, blooming perennials, and ornamental trees, along with services for arboreal and ornamental greenery. Handcrafted items take centre stage in the "Artisans' Streets" throughout the historic centre and along Savigliano's commercial streets. In Piazza Molineri, discover the "green and fragrance island," a dedicated corner for flowers and gardens.

Piazza Cavour welcomes agricultural companies from trade associations, while Via Garibaldi, besides hosting the Bachelor's Degree Course in Herbal Techniques, accommodates the Kids Area.

It all began in the ancient Benedictine monastery of San Pietro. Here in Savigliano, in a cloister recently restored to its former glory, wise monks cultivated aromatic and medicinal herbs for centuries. Some plants were only found at high altitudes, prompting the monks to gather them from the mountains, distill them, dry them, and transform them into potent essences.

Hence, the name of the event is explained, a term we inherit that indicates something of the highest quality: QuintEssenza.
